About our client
Our client, a leading mid-market private equity fund with a strong global track record, is currently seeking a Co-Sec & Corporate Governance professonal to join their London team. As the firm enters an exciting phase of growth, they are placing a strong emphasis on strengthening their specialist functions across the business. What the job involves
Within the role, you will be responsible for overseeing company secretarial, legal, and regulatory matters for the fund and its group entities. Working within the legal team, you'll gain immediate exposure to a broad range of activities and collaborate closely with other specialist functions, including compliance, tax, and finance. This is a newly created role that offers significant autonomy, providing the opportunity to add real value and shape the position as your own.
- Company secretarial support, including board packs and formal minutes
- Preparation of general legal documents, including NDAs, engagement letters and terms sheets
- Assist on regulatory filings
- Maintain statutory registers and corporate records
- Legal research and required documentation
- Liaison with external providers
- Ownership of insurance schemes
Who we are looking for
- Co-sec or governance experience gained within the investment management space
- Knowledge of private market investment would be advantageous
- Knowledge of legal terminology and process
- Strong organisation, communication, and time management skills
- Proven track record of dealing with confidential matters
