The position involves pre-installation checks, on-site commissioning, system integration, functional testing, and handover to clients. You will play a key role in ensuring the generators are ready for service from day one, working closely with project teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Commission diesel generators, including electrical and mechanical checks.
- Configure and program generator control systems (DSE, ComAp).
- Conduct functional tests, including load bank testing.
- Integrate generators with related systems such as UPS and ATS panels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning.
- Complete commissioning reports and client handover documentation.
- Liaise with clients and project teams to coordinate commissioning activities.
- HNC/Technical qualifications in mechanical/electrical or a related field (ideal).
- Experience in generator maintenance and servicing.
- Knowledge of Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) and ComAp control systems.
- Hands-on experience with alternators and load bank testing.
