Position Summary
Reports to: Senior Reliability Manager
Working Hours: Continental shift pattern (3/2), rotating between days (05:45-18:00) and nights (17:45-6:00).
Salary & Benefits
- Annual Salary: £57,700 (including shift allowance)
- Quarterly Incentive: £1,400 to £3,200 annually based on KPI achievement
- Overtime, relocation, sponsorship options available
- Pension: Company matches contributions (you contribute 5%, we add 10%)

Main Accountability
As a technician, you will be a technical expert responsible for maintaining manufacturing assets, ensuring plant reliability through preventative and corrective maintenance, root cause analysis, and supporting autonomous maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
- Complete quality checks before and after maintenance
- Follow safety and regulatory standards
- Provide training and mentorship to autonomous maintenance teams
- Develop personal skills and ensure compliance with 5S standards
- Develop lubrication maps and support maintenance planning
- Lead root cause analysis sessions
- Ensure accurate work order and inventory management
- Adhere to maintenance instructions and support continuous improvement
- Own area responsibilities and provide technical support
- Maximise wrench time and prioritize workload
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with hands-on experience
- Electrical/Mechanical qualification
- Electro-mechanical aptitude, electrical testing, SCADA, PLC knowledge
- Understanding of CMMS, good manufacturing practices
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills
