Lead the transformation of PEP brands from packaged snacks into the broader real food culture by driving demand-driven innovation. This role connects consumer insights, marketing, communications, and commercialization to identify strategic opportunities in Ready-to-Eat (RTE), Ready-to-Cook (RTC), and Away-from-Home (AFH) spaces, enabling brand growth through culinary relevance and consumer resonance.
Responsibilities
- Identify consumer demand moments and friction points across culinary and meal occasions (in-home and out-of-home).
- Translate insights into strategic platforms for brand expansion.
- Define strategic RTE-RTC and AFH platforms with a clear right-to-win for PEP brands in anchor markets.
- Build a future-back, consumer-ratified sub-brand architecture to support brand extensions.
- Partner with Innovation Lead to co-develop and commercialize winning product solutions that are validated by consumer insights and aligned with brand strategy.
- Ensure innovations are scalable, commercially viable, and aligned with consumer needs.
- Lead development of 360-degree consumer communication strategies for new platforms leveraging global assets ensuring relevance to UK market.
- Ensure messaging consistency with brand positioning and culinary strategy.
- Lead AFH strategy and activation to deliver immersive brand experiences.
- Own the AFH strategy and activation roadmap and collaboration with cross-functional teams ensuring brand experiences are consistent with culinary strategy and executed effectively across tentpole events.
- Create an end-to-end playbook for consistent culinary AFH activation across key brands and events.
- Develop internal communications that foster organizational awareness, excitement, and ownership of the culinary journey.
- Key interface with UK sales team across all channels. Identify what’s needed and execute external sell in in partnership with sales function.
- Define KPI’s to measure success for all innovation and ensure data and rituals and routines are in place to track performance. Lead communication and recommendations on changes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in consumer strategy, brand innovation, or culinary marketing, preferably within FMCG or food & beverage sectors.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering consumer-centric innovation at scale.
- Deep understanding of consumer insights, brand architecture, and commercialization processes.
- Experience in AFH channels and event-based brand activations is highly desirable.
- Strong strategic thinking and storytelling capabilities, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
