The role will be responsible for leading the energy strategy in the UK. They will develop calendar initiatives, partnering with the sector & IB teams. They will need to create assets, working with Insights teams and bottlers to understand consumer need. The candidate will also lead the TCP agenda, ensuring we have effective media and plans in place. They will play a key role in helping to drive bottler alignment to our plans and ensuring BTL activity is coordinated with ATL. The role will be expected to contribute to key business processes (ICP, TCP planning, Comms development). The role will also be responsible for helping to manage, plan and monitor our A&M spend.
Responsibilities
- Support the Marketing Director with delivery of energy strategy and brand calendars.
- Lead development of set initiatives in the calendar, creating and delivering programmes, including specifically:
- Lead and develop effective and compelling TCP and media plans.
- Lead Insights plan and implement learnings into campaign development.
- Lead digital and OOH content production.
- Lead artwork, key visual and shopper toolkit development and handover.
- Lead influencer strategy and implementation.
- Lead ‘Live Nation partnership’, including festival and sampling activation.
- Lead social media strategy, content development and activation.
- Understand and represent needs of our bottlers and help build initiatives into our plans.
- Work collaboratively with the bottler to create selling materials.
- Shape perfect portfolio from a consumer/shopper needs perspective, NRM and PPA considerations.
- Lead A&M in the UK.
- Lead performance management including recommending course correction and actions.
- Lead key projects through the Gate Stage process, representing needs of PEP and the bottler.
Qualifications
- Strong consumer understanding and brand building skills – understanding consumer insights to help build stronger activations & campaigns.
- Analytical skills – create robust analysis and meaningful insights to drive actions and highlight opportunities.
- Commercially savvy – knowing the commercial basics to work independently with the Carlsberg Britvic brand managers.
- Project management – proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast moving and ever-changing environment (ideally FMCG) with maturity and foresight to cope with input and changes.
- Experience of engaging and leading cross-functional teams, internal and external partners.
- Leading external agencies to develop and deliver winning marketing plans & content.
- Budget Management experience.
