The UK Bevs Insights Manager (6 MONTHS PATERNITY COVER) owns end‑to‑end insight across the PepsiCo Growth Navigator (Proposition, Reach, Resonance, Availability, Value) for Pepsi TM (65%), Poppi (25%) and 7UP (10%). A high‑impact business partner who turns complex, multi‑source data into clear insights that drive action and accelerate growth. Success is measured by influence and outcomes, not volume of reporting — identifying true performance drivers, shaping direction, and defining clear next steps. This role acts as the single version of the truth, spotting and shaping the biggest growth opportunities & partners closely with Marketing, Commercial and Carlsberg Britvic, bringing a deep understanding of brands, competitors and category context. The role suits a confident storyteller who joins the dots, prioritises ruthlessly, and builds strong stakeholder empathy within a matrixed insights team. The job requires a person who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, instilling confidence in data accuracy and consistency as a trusted advisor. This role enables senior stakeholders to leverage automated reporting and self‑serve solutions, while supporting the systemisation and simplification of BI. The role works collaboratively with global BI teams (Hyderabad) to reduce duplication and manual effort.
Responsibilities
- Translate the Pepsi TM Growth Navigator & Cola Category Deep Dive (Project Phoenix) into clear actions for the brand plan, including follow‑up on priority workstreams.
- Lead Poppi launch tracking and evaluation, ensuring a single, aligned performance narrative across Marketing and Commercial (PepsiCo & CBBV).
- Deliver systemised end‑to‑end innovation assessments across PepsiCo and competitors, informing UK and International Beverages learnings.
- Support localisation of the Europe Bevs Category Vision for the UK, partnering with CBBV to land with customers.
- Participate actively in core performance forums, including CBBV monthly operations meetings.
Qualifications
- Proven FMCG insights & commercial analytics leader, confident working with NIQ EPOS, Kantar panel data and core performance KPIs.
- Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills, with hands‑on experience using Power BI, automated reporting and AI‑enabled tools.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify true performance drivers and business implications.
- Compelling storyteller who influences senior stakeholders with clarity, confidence and a strong point of view.
- Experience working with and directing offshore BI teams (Hyderabad), prioritising workloads and elevating output quality.
- Comfortable rolling sleeves up — able to self‑serve data via NIQ Discover / Worldpanel+ when required.
- Solid understanding of consumer data and insight, and how it connects into commercial and category performance.
- Experience in Category Management & Perfect Store metrics is essential; Beverages experience a plus, not a prerequisite.
- Thrives in a “high challenge, high support” culture — constructively challenging the status quo with credibility and respect.
- Strong collaborator in matrixed, international teams; able to work seamlessly across UK, Europe and Global stakeholders.
