Overview

You will lead the increase of GP Indirects spend coverage.

There exists across DTS & Make white space opportunities in the region of $38MM across UK operations (5 Plants, 2 HQs & 2 DC's).

You will be responsible for the attainment of My Buy targets in the area of responsibility.

You will be responsible for the delivery of YOY productivity, Cash Flow and My Buy Targets through understanding of local markets needs, partnership relationships and alignment with local stakeholders and finance.

You will also act as a critical link between the services provided by GCC and the local BU ensuring the smooth running of the service provision to the UKBU.

Responsibilities

  • Increasing procurement coverage from current average to 90% either through local sourcing or GCC - Total estimated spend in scope is $38MM – decision making.
  • Delivering + 6% pa productivity in Indirects areas through total cost of ownership approach, category management and X-Functional partnership – decision making, consultation and execution.
  • Enabling the effective embedding GCC provision into the category and UK Market Unit – consultation and execution.
  • Managing key category projects from tender through to implementation and performance monitoring for UK Market (with support provided by GCC) – decision making, consultation and execution.
  • Providing IBP/ACP planning, Forecasting and Price Variance reporting for responsible areas – informing.
  • Managing local stakeholders relations (along with GCC), capturing business needs and leading organization through change toward new ways of working within Procurement – informing, consultation and execution.
  • Leading and managing suppliers interaction and negotiation (with support from GCC) – consultation, decision making and execution.
  • Owning contract execution, supplier co-ordination, competitive benchmarking & works with local business to solve any quality, service or compliance issues – informing and execution.
  • Supporting and executing full vendor approval contract process in line with GP global procurement policies – consultation and execution.
  • Ensuring compliance of local and regional procurement processes with Pepsi Co rules & guidelines – consultation and execution.

Qualifications

  • Having at least 5 years of purchasing experience in Procurement (Directs or Indirects), including exposure to competitive tender, analysis & knowledge of the market dynamics as well as knowledge of the seven steps procurement model.
  • Demonstrating the ability to collect and analyze complex tender & supplier data from multi-sources in order to create market productivity opportunities.
  • Building strong coss functional networks and effectively influencing senior stakeholders, sinance Teams and GCC.
  • Owning and recognising risk and business challenges to market, with the ability to escalation accordingly with EP network.
  • Utilizing strong PC skills, including knowledge of SAP, Mybuy, Power Steering, My Contracts with good knowledge of Excel.
  • Presenting information to key stakeholders in a concise and informative manner.
  • Holding a degree or equivalent qualification.
