Join the world of PepsiCo Impulse sales. We are looking to recruit a Regional Account Executive for the South where you will be managing a portfolio of Wholesale Customers to grow their business and make a real impact. Your innovation, problem solving and entrepreneurial spirit will be utilised to the fullest in this fast paced and ever-changing environment, to deliver net revenue growth on Walkers & Quaker across various customers covering Retail, Discounters and Foodservice routes to market. You will be joining colleagues in an amazing Team in the Wholesale Channel all of whom are proud to work in Impulse.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage and agree Joint Business Plans with customers to deliver profitable revenue growth & distribution of core range.
- Deliver gold standard execution of all centrally agreed campaigns in key customers.
- Build advantaged relationships with key partners to deliver net revenue growth, raising the profile and importance of our brands & positively contribute to the AGS score.
- Network with wholesalers and depots at all levels – telesales, business managers, buyers, sales controllers, owners.
- Work cross functionally with Pepsico & Customer sales teams & present at meetings to drive sales across the PepsiCo product portfolio.
- Leverage central terms and local monies to drive share and distribution of Pepsico products.
- Work with accounts to deliver profitable revenue growth through local investment, and identify new business opportunities in the channel.
- Cover accounts based on a wide geographical area across the whole of the South of England & South Wales. Approximately 30,000 miles per year and occasional overnight stays to ensure route efficiency.
- Maintain high professional standards with customers to reflect positively on Pepsico.
- Ensure actions agreed with customers are followed through in a timely manner. Complete required administration.
Qualifications
- Track record of delivering against sales objectives.
- Wholesale experience an advantage.
- Proactive and customer driven.
- Able to quickly build both internal and external networks to support objectives – customer sales teams, buyers, PepsiCo NREV team, Order Management Team, etc.
- Managing complex objection handling – think creatively under pressure.
- Able to flex approach and adopt the most appropriate selling style for each customer.
- FMCG selling experience and core selling skills including fact-based proposals, ability to identify most appropriate messages and negotiation skills.
- Able to work against a number of competing priorities.
- Numerate and well organised.
- PC skills – daily working with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of the PIUK brands.
- Networks to achieve results.
- Analyses and prioritises opportunities.
- Demonstrates perseverance and resilience in the pursuit of goals.
- Displays responsible and ethical behaviour towards customers, suppliers and others in the organisation.
- Demonstrates a sense of passion, enjoyment and pride about their work.
- Ability to analyse sales in/sales out stats to identify gaps in range and trends.
- Ability to flex and think creatively to navigate obstacles preventing customers receiving best in class service.
- Ability to fact find and answer customer queries using internal Pepsico Networks.
