We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on Performance Marketing Lead to own performance media strategy and execution across paid social and paid search in the UK and selected European markets. This is a senior hands‑on role with ownership of multi‑million‑pound media budgets in highly competitive DTC environments. Reporting into the Global Head of Performance Marketing, you will work closely with local marketing teams across the UK and selected European markets to ensure performance media activity aligns with through‑the‑line plans and local marketing priorities.

You will be accountable for how media investment performs day to day, combining strong in‑platform execution, rigorous testing, and close collaboration with creative teams to maximise the impact of media spend. Please note that the role follows a hybrid working arrangement, with a minimum of three days per week required in the London office.

Responsibilities
  • Own performance media strategy across the UK and selected European markets
  • Translate commercial and marketing objectives into paid social and paid search strategies
  • Lead hands‑on activation, optimisation, forecasting, and pacing
  • Own allocation and performance of multi‑million‑pound media budgets
  • Partner closely with creative and marketing teams to shape content for platform
  • Brief clear, insight‑led creative requirements based on performance data
  • Drive high‑volume creative testing, continuously refreshing assets across formats, hooks, and messaging
  • Use performance learnings to inform creative iteration and scaling decisions
  • Define KPIs and success metrics across channels and markets
  • Analyse funnel performance and media effectiveness to identify optimisation opportunities
  • Work closely with analytics or data partners to support reliable tracking and reporting, including GA4 and platform signals
  • Champion a strong test‑and‑learn culture
  • Work closely with local marketing teams to support end‑to‑end marketing plans
  • Collaborate with European and global teams to share learnings and align on best practices
  • Stay ahead of platform updates and industry trends
Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ hands‑on experience in paid social and paid search within DTC‑first or high‑growth ecommerce businesses; experience in established global FMCG, small domestic appliances or subscription‑based businesses desirable
  • Demonstrated multi‑market experience, with UK and ideally across Europe
  • Experience managing large‑scale media budgets
  • Strong analytical capability with a solid understanding of incrementality and attribution frameworks, and the ability to turn data into action
  • Extensive experience briefing and testing creative for performance, including high‑volume creative testing
  • Additional European language skills are a bonus
