PepsiCo is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Walkers site in SRDC‑Leicester.
Position Summary
- Annual Salary: £34,727.27 (inclusive of shift allowance)
- Working Hours: average of 42 per week, 8‑week rotational plan with 12‑hour day and night shifts
- Location: Bursom Road, Walkers Snacks Distribution Ltd, Leicester LE4 1EX, SRDC‑GBR

Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate picking, loading and tipping of goods for customer orders using Ride‑on pallet trucks and RDTs.
- Support adhoc movements in the warehouse, including use of mini‑mover.
- Carry out accurate stock counts, process returns and low‑code stock.
- Deliver personal and team KPIs.
- Own stock accuracy, including pallets; resolve variances and investigate stock issues.
- Maintain service levels for customers, meeting/exceeding KPI targets for failures, volume fill and timeliness.
- Contribute to site safety agenda: adhere to safety accountabilities, support safety tours and initiatives, maintain good housekeeping.
- Contribute to site BRC agenda: meet personal accountabilities, support BRC tours and initiatives, resolve actions.
- Contribute to SRDC Lean agenda.
Additional Responsibilities (Advanced Skilled)
- Complete special pick tasks accurately.
- Use forklift truck to support a variety of warehouse activities.
- Assist in all Goods In areas, including all Green Goods In tasks.
- Perform Orange Badge Tasks.
- Cover Warehouse operations support roles (warehouse tech, yard) when required.
- Shunting (premium rate applies).
- Train others on the above responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Good people skills.
- UK driving licence.
- Ability to analyse data on the go and make decisions within clear guidelines.
- Reliable and flexible.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver first‑class performance.
- Excellent attention to detail in a complex environment.
- PC skills are an advantage.
- Keenness to succeed in a logistics operation with potential for growth.
