Responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse & distribution operations, on time in full order shipment, cost saving initiatives, customer centric processes, efficiency gains and continuous improvement.

- OTIF measurements for Retail, Direct and Independents
- Total Logistics Cost of Revenue
- Logistics Cost per unit
- Direct Logistics Cost of Revenue
- Warehouse cost in line with Budget target for the year
- Distribution cost in line with Budget target for the year
- Cycle counts and Yearly Stock take variance of max 0.5% discrepancy
Responsibilities:
- Together with Ops Director, responsible for creating and adhering to the Warehouse and Distribution yearly budget.
- Responsible for reviewing and signing all invoices in relation to Warehouse and Distribution.
- Create and maintain a strong working relationship with our 3PL partner.
- Responsible for the smooth running of weekly cycle counts and quarterly/yearly stock take within the agreed fluctuation of 0.5%.
- Responsible for creating, documenting, and regularly reviewing current processes that cover the warehouse and distribution part of the business.
- Consistently review costs and create savings initiatives to support business requirements.
- Manage relationships and KPI’s with our carriers, Yodel DPD and Evri.
- Support with company projects that are related to warehousing and distribution of goods in the UK or abroad focusing on UK Direct to Consumer UX and reverse logistics.
- Responsible for the re-tendering of our 3PL together with our Global colleagues.
- Responsible for the forecasting of packaging materials needed in the warehouse for order dispatch.
- Support with the onboarding of new customers from a warehouse and distribution perspective e.g., label, pallets requirements, carried, etc.
- Continuous improvement initiatives on the operational services provided by our 3PL.
- Together with our 3PL, responsible for the efficient layout of the SodaStream warehouse space that supports current order picking complexity and future business growth.
- Together with our 3PL, responsible for ensuring there is enough staff to support with Q4 and any promotional activity additional volume increases occurring throughout the year.
- Support the selected 3PL with future forecast of pallets, containers, and product volumes to enable the efficient running of operations.
- Work together with our 3PL and customers to ensure smooth order delivery (correct labels, pallets, packaging materials) and avoid any fees due to failed delivery.
- Create yearly budgets for warehouse and distribution costs and review with Ops Director and Finance Team prior to approval.
- Responsible for monthly forecasting of warehouse and distribution costs to align with Pepsi financial requirements.
- Responsible for the Monthly reporting of W&D KPI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management or related fields.
- Preferred: A Master’s degree (MBA) is often preferred for higher-level positions or larger companies.
- Alternative: Some roles accept significant work experience and an Associate degree or equivalent professional training.
