With sites across the UK, including our Quaker mill in Cupar and Doritos factory in Coventry, we are also home to one of the world's largest crisp factories in Leicester. As Senior Operations Manager, you will own end-to-end operational performance, leading and developing a large, multi-layered organisation across multiple production and packaging lines, driving sustainable performance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Take full accountability for safety, quality, service, cost, and people performance across manufacturing operations.
- Deliver Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Productivity to Plan (P2P) outcomes through rigorous standards, discipline, and flawless execution.
- Lead and advance Integrated Work System (IWS) maturity, driving measurable results and continuous improvement.
- Develop future leaders while embedding PepsiCo operating systems to ensure sustainable, long-term performance.
- Oversee end-to-end operational management of manufacturing sites, with responsibility for up to 1,000 employees.
- Drive people engagement, talent development, and capability building across all levels of the organization.
- Deploy IWS pillars and lead the SPARK agenda to accelerate operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of senior leadership in large-scale operations, ideally within FMCG environments.
- Deep knowledge or hands-on experience with Integrated Work Systems (IWS/TPM).
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex organizations, balancing cost, performance metrics, and people engagement.
- Strong execution skills with the ability to deliver results under pressure.
- Exceptional people leadership skills, with a focus on coaching, developing, and inspiring teams.
- Highly adaptable and quick to learn in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Experience managing large teams and direct reports at senior levels.
