- Lead short-term demand planning activities, including forecast enrichment, Demand Control and the forecast handshake process, ensuring commercial inputs are reviewed, challenged where appropriate and aligned with the agreed IBP demand plan.
- Monitor forecast performance, identify demand exceptions, short-term Risks & Opportunities and execution risks, implementing timely corrective actions to protect customer service and inventory performance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Collaboration, Supply Planning, Finance, the IBP Channel Demand Planner and the Forecast Analyst to develop customer insights, support service execution, facilitate the forecast handshake process and maintain a single aligned demand plan across short-term and medium-term planning horizons.
- Lead Demand Control and support i S&OE forums by providing clear demand insights, highlighting emerging risks and recommending appropriate mitigation actions to enable informed business decisions.
- Maintain high standards of forecast quality, data integrity and planning governance through effective use of the o9 planning platform, collaboration with the Forecast Analyst to leverage system-generated insights, and adherence to IBP processes and standards.
- Act as the recognised subject matter expert for short-term demand planning, Demand Control and demand sensing processes.
