The Line Engineering Lead is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving the maintenance planning and scheduling (MPS) and breakdown elimination (BDE) daily management system (DMS). They will coach line teams to enhance technical ability and ensure continuity with other Progressive Maintenance systems.
Responsibilities:- Ensure lines are not constrained due to lack of technical capability or knowledge.
- Plan, organize, and execute maintenance tasks efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Transfer knowledge to line teams and develop their skills to meet team and line goals.
- Review and prioritize SAP work orders within 24 hours of generation.
- Maintain current work order backlog and manage reporting and business needs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in FMCG or similar manufacturing environments.
- Ability to influence technicians, line leads, and engineers.
- Strong coaching and development skills.
- Commitment to self-development.
- Experience with integrated work systems (IWS) and operational skills, or ability to acquire them quickly.
- Manufacturing line experience and equipment ownership capability.
- Flexible mindset and willingness to cover various roles as needed.
- WPI Level 4 capability is highly desirable.
