Overview
The Facilities/OA FLM is the single point of leadership for a frontline team and responsible for decision making and performance daily of the outside areas including Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Starch Processing facility and Anaerobic Digestion Plant (AD), driving execution and adherence to core standards.
Working with the team structure to continuously improve results and capability.
Responsibilities
- The FLM must role model high standards by consistently demonstrating and reinforcing Pepsi Co values and behaviours
- Champion safety first, safety always by adoption of established safety systems and ways of working
- Demonstrating good manufacturing practices & housekeeping standards to ensure everyday audit readiness.
Drive to always maintain & improve quality & food safety standards and responsible for all quality systems compliance
- Adherence and governance of process and equipment standards to drive performance
- Manage and inspire employee’s performance and career growth develop and sustain a high performing, self-sufficient team through coaching, empowerment and continuous improvement
- Manage attendance, performance and conduct of all employees
- Overall responsibility for all outputs of area of accountability
- Work with operations manager and site stakeholders to continuously improve key performance metric across a balanced scorecard.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated front line leadership in safety operations and quality and experience of developing others to build autonomous, high performing teams
- Ability to connect and respect your team and be empathetic
- Collaborate with and influence colleagues’ peers and leadership
- Strong capability in teaching coaching and developing others
- Demonstrates leadership though consistent actions and behaviours
- Effective communication skills including active listening positive confrontation and assertiveness when needed
- Proven ability to deliver results
- Personal commitment to self-development is required for the role
- Flexible mindset and willingness to adapt and floe to the work, including training and tasks required to deliver line key performing indicators (KPI’s)
- Governance of standards and building positive cultures
- Previous Outside Areas & Manufacturing experience desirable (WWTP), Starch, AD, Waste management.
- Computer Literate with experience in E-mails, Microsoft Teams, PDF, SAP
