What will a day in the life of our Partnerships Manager look like?
- Manage and progress early-stage partnership pipeline — qualifying inbound and outbound leads across various intermediaries in the healthcare benefits space e.g. benefits consultants/brokers, and insurers, and working with the senior leaders in the company as needed, to run the initial conversations that get them to a commercial proposal.
- Own contracting for smaller partnerships end-to-end — drafting, negotiating and closing commercial agreements directly with partners.
- Run process management for larger, more strategic partnerships — coordinating timelines, internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Legal, Product, Clinical) and partner-side requirements.
- Enable our channel partners to sell Peppy — training broker, consultant and insurer teams, building sales collateral, and making it easy for them to position Peppy with their clients.
- Drive revenue from existing channels — tracking partner-sourced pipeline and conversion, spotting which partners are performing, and re-activating those that have gone quiet.
- Build lasting partner relationships — running regular check-ins and quarterly business reviews to grow each partnership beyond the first deal.
- Keep pipeline and partner data accurate in the CRM, and use it to report on pipeline health and conversion.
- Support onboarding and early-stage account management for smaller partners.
- Feed what you learn from partner conversations back into the team's playbook, templates and proposals.
Our dream Partnerships Manager will have:
The "Must-Haves":
- 3–5 years' commercial experience: partnerships, business development, account management or consulting - with a clear track record of taking on more responsibility faster than most.
- Experience with channel commercial models: such as referral, reseller or commission structures, and how to make them work for both sides.
- Exceptional analytical thinking: comfortable pulling apart a contract, a utilisation report or a partner's business case and drawing a clear recommendation from it.
- Strong communication skills: confident drafting a commercial proposal, holding your own in a partner negotiation, and briefing colleagues internally.
- Strong project & process management skills: able to run several contracts and work streams in parallel without letting details drop.
- Strong ownership skills: comfortable owning a negotiation or a contract independently, while knowing when to bring in a Manager, senior leadership team member or the CEO for a bigger, more complex deal.
- Highly organised: experienced in managing multiple contracts and conversations simultaneously while proactively driving deals forward.
The "Nice-to-Haves":
- A genuine appetite to take on more scope and responsibility over time, and the self-drive to build the track record that earns it.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-moving scale-up environment.
- Eager to receive feedback from senior team members and continuously improve.
What success looks like
In your first 6 months, you’ll have:
- Built a clear view of our channel: which partners drive revenue, which have stalled, and why.
- Re-engaged dormant partners and generated new pipeline from them.
- Signed new channel partners and taken them through onboarding and enablement.
- Launched a repeatable enablement pack (training, collateral and pitch materials) that partners actually use.
By 12 months, you’ll have:
- Turned new partners into active channels, consistently referring deals into Peppy’s pipeline.
- Grown Peppy’s partner-sourced revenue against a target we’ll share with you during the interview process.
- Shaped the playbook so each new partner launches faster than the last.
