Description
The Pepperstone story started in 2010. We know what it’s like to trade the world’s markets. Our team describes us as a place for the curious and the driven, and we like to do things a little differently; as a transformative global fintech we’re digital, nimble, connected and united in our vision to create a better way to trade.
We thrive on progress – for our clients and for ourselves. Our organisational culture is ever-evolving, vibrant, diverse, global and results focused.
You’ll find our 700+ team currently across 12 locations and 9 time zones.
The Role
The newly created Global Head of Sales is a senior leadership role that owns how Pepperstone wins clients and grows revenue across LATAM, EMEA, APAC and Australia. It sets the global sales strategy and the direction each region works to, and it's accountable for client acquisition and revenue growth, for consistent sales execution and capability in every market, and for building one high-performing global sales team that pulls in the same direction as the wider business. It's a role with real reach: shaping how we sell, lifting the standard across regions, and bringing four markets onto a single commercial agenda.
This role leads a well-established sales function and comes with the budget, team and support to deliver, reporting to our Group CFO and CEO UK.
We're looking for someone commercially driven, who acts quickly and takes ownership of results. A strong people leader who builds trust across teams spread around the world, and who stays steady and adapts when things change, as they often do in a growing business.
Due to the nature of the role, regular international travel to spend time with teams and clients, and some flexibility on hours to stay connected across time zones is expected.
As our Head of Global Sales your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Set and drive Pepperstone's global sales strategy, targets and go-to-market approach, aligned to our commercial and business objectives.
- Lead the regional Heads of Sales across LATAM, EMEA, APAC and Australia, bringing direction, mentorship and a high performance bar.
- Carry the global client acquisition and revenue targets, tracking regional performance and stepping in early where the numbers need you.
- Own the regional marketing teams and budget, kept in step with the central marketing function.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Trading and Client Services leadership so sales pulls in the same direction as the wider commercial agenda.
- Build consistent sales processes, methodology and reporting standards across regions, with room for local market nuance.
- Attract, develop and retain high-performing sales leaders, and build real succession depth across the global team.
- Own the global sales budget, headcount planning and resource allocation in line with business priorities.
- Keep sales practice across every region clean against its regulators (ASIC, FCA, CySEC, DFSA, SCB and others) and Pepperstone's risk standards.
- Give ExCo and other stakeholders a straight, accurate read on sales performance, pipeline and market conditions.
- Shape and adapt strategy with a sharp understanding of regional regulation, client behaviour and competitive dynamics.
About you
- 10+ years in senior sales leadership, ideally in FX/CFD, trading, or broader financial services like fintech, gaming or payments.
- A track record of leading multi-regional or global sales teams and delivering revenue and acquisition growth at scale.
- Deep understanding of the FX/CFD trading industry, client acquisition models and regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions.
- Comfortable leading senior sales leaders remotely, across time zones and cultures.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget and P&L accountability.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills at ExCo level.
- Experience leading marketing teams and function is an advantage.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech or trading environment.
Why you will enjoy working with us
- Competitive salary structure including company bonus scheme
- Genuinely collaborative and friendly culture
- Flexible and hybrid working
- Remote working option - work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year, in addition to hybrid working as standard
