Ideal for a Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or National Account Manager with a proven track record of winning new business in industrial markets.

Ready to Build Something, Not Just Maintain It? This is a rare opportunity to join a globally recognised engineering technology leader in a newly created role where you'll have the freedom, autonomy, and backing to make a genuine impact.

At Pepperl+Fuchs, we're looking for a commercially driven, entrepreneurial sales professional who thrives on creating opportunities, opening doors, and winning new business. This isn't a role for someone who wants to inherit a large portfolio and maintain the status quo. We're looking for a hunter. Someone who is naturally curious, strategically minded, and energised by identifying opportunities that others miss. Someone who wants to leave their mark on a business and be recognised and rewarded for doing so.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth across the UK by developing new customer relationships, expanding existing strategic accounts, and identifying opportunities across a wide range of industrial sectors. You'll be responsible for building a pipeline of opportunities, winning new logos, and creating long-term growth strategies that deliver measurable results. Working remotely, you'll have the flexibility to manage your own diary and territory while being supported by one of the strongest brands and technical teams in the industrial automation market.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities across the UK
  • Developing growth strategies within existing customer accounts
  • Securing new logos and expanding market share
  • Building relationships with decision-makers across engineering, operations, maintenance, procurement and senior leadership teams
  • Creating and executing strategic account plans
  • Understanding customer challenges and delivering value-based solutions
  • Working closely with technical and internal sales teams to develop compelling proposals
  • Managing opportunities from prospecting through to successful implementation
  • Maintaining accurate forecasts and pipeline management

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in industrial B2B sales and business development
  • A genuine hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business
  • Self-starter who can work autonomously and create their own opportunities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and grow something meaningful
  • Strategic thinker who can identify long-term growth opportunities
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Experience selling into industrial manufacturing, engineering, automation or process industries

Ideally, You'll Have

  • Experience within industrial automation, sensing, controls, instrumentation, fluid power or related industrial technologies
  • Knowledge of the industrial sensing marketplace would be highly advantageous, but is not essential
  • Experience selling consultative, value-based technical solutions

Why Pepperl+Fuchs?

Pepperl+Fuchs is a globally recognised technology leader with an outstanding reputation for innovation, quality and customer support. When you join us, you're not just selling products—you're representing a brand that customers already trust and respect.

You'll benefit from:

  • A newly created role with significant growth potential
  • The freedom to shape your own success
  • Strong technical and commercial support
  • Market-leading technology and solutions
  • A respected global brand with an excellent reputation
  • Genuine career development opportunities
  • Outstanding earning potential through a very generous bonus structure
  • Company car or car allowance
  • Private healthcare
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Recognition and reward for high performance

If you're ambitious, commercially driven and want to build something rather than simply maintain it, we'd love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to join a market-leading global business, make a real impact, and be rewarded for the results you deliver. Apply today and help drive the next phase of growth at Pepperl+Fuchs.
