We’re a London-based company building the leading digital hospitality platform, which means designing and building iOS and Android Apps, management web portals, backend services, e-pos integrations, and much more.
We have an immediate vacancy for a junior/mid-level front-end developer to join our team and help us build best-in-class web applications.
The Role
The roadmap for our web app and our portal website has many ambitious features; they will be a challenge to implement. This is a hands-on role developing web applications using React.js and Typescript. You’ll be working with your colleagues in the Front End team and the Platform team to architect new features and build performant and delightful user experiences. We use an agile Kanban process for development, emphasising planning and design in our process, and aim for fast, continuous delivery.
Who Should Apply
We are looking for developers with 1-3 years’ experience in a commercial team. You’ve worked on real-world websites or applications, know how to problem solve, and you set a high-quality standard. In particular, we are looking for:
- Experience with React.js and related design patterns
- Experience in ES6, Typescript and Debugging, Javascript build tools and packagers
- Experience in web service technologies and knowledge of Node.js
- Fluent spoken English
- A university degree in CS, or STEM subject
While we embrace the advantages of AI in our workflow, it is expected that interviews will be carried out without the use of such tools.
Location
This role is suitable for remote working. In fact, all our developers work remotely, but you do have the option to work in the office if you want to and if you are based in the UK. You will always find Pepper staff in our London office at Shepherds Bush.
