About the Role
As a Salesperson 2IC, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team and driving revenue growth for the company.
Your primary focus will be to assist in developing sales strategies, manage key client relationships, and facilitate effective communication between the sales team and upper management.
You will serve as the second-in-command, stepping in when needed and providing support to ensure sales targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the formulation and execution of strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify prospective clients and develop new business opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth product presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing our offerings and their benefits.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights for decision‑making and strategy adjustments.
- Support the development of sales materials and promotional content to enhance outreach efforts.
- Coordinate and lead team meetings, sharing updates and motivating the sales team to reach targets.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a sales role, preferably within a related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track performance and client interactions.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant sales certification or training (e. g., Sales Management, Negotiation).
- Experience in developing training materials and onboarding new sales team members.
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles and techniques as they relate to sales strategy.
- Familiarity with industry‑specific products or services, enhancing client engagement efforts.
