This role focuses on leading the delivery of high quality learning programmes and managing the operational experience for learners across a range of education and skills initiatives. You will oversee programme delivery teams, optimise processes, and ensure that learners have a smooth, supported journey from enrolment through to successful outcomes. The role requires strong operational oversight, excellent stakeholder management, and a commitment to continuously improving delivery systems and learner experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high quality, timely and efficient processes to support the operational delivery of programmes.
  • Oversee and manage delivery teams including programme coordinators, facilitators and mentors.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex programme challenges to ensure timely resolution and strong learner outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with learner support teams to ensure support for programmes is effective and consistently improving.
  • Coordinate facilitators and mentors, ensuring administrative and delivery tasks are well managed and aligned to programme objectives.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and development of facilitators, contributing to high engagement and retention.
  • Analyse course and programme data to inform operational improvements and delivery decisions.
  • Work across internal teams and external partnerships to enable aligned, successful programme delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support programme success and ongoing partnership retention.
  • Engage with education and industry partners to understand success enablers and feed insights into continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with partner stakeholders to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Use learner, facilitator and partner insights to develop scalable systems, processes and delivery assets.
  • Represent programme and partner needs in organisational planning, meetings and operational reviews.
  • Lead a portfolio of delivery projects, providing updates and demonstrating measurable impact.
  • Coordinate communications across delivery teams when rolling out new processes or project outputs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in programme delivery or course management within a higher education or online learning environment.
  • Managerial experience overseeing teams delivering education or student services.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Experience resolving complex issues within learner support, delivery or student-facing operations.
  • Ability to identify, prioritise and manage operational risk.
  • Experience supporting mentoring, coaching or student success programmes.
  • Sensitivity and empathetic understanding of diverse learner and stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity with a solutions oriented mindset.
  • Experience in community management or service design within an education or skills development context.
  • Ability to balance learner experience with commercial and operational constraints.
