Shift Pattern: Bi-weekly: Week 1 – Monday to Friday 5:45 am to 1:45 pm. Week 2 – four weekdays 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm and one weekend day 7:30 am to 1:30 pm.
Job Overview: We are looking for a Leisure Centre Duty Manager to join our experienced and friendly team at the College Leisure Centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the site, developing customer relationships, and ensuring the safety of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager to ensure the Leisure Centre is operational at all times.
- Deliver strong customer service, both face-to-face and over the telephone.
- Carry out lifeguarding duties.
- Provide guidance and support to the lifeguarding team.
- Deliver swimming lessons, as and when required.
- Support with membership and administration duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- In possession of (or willing to work towards) an RLSS NPLQ qualification.
- Prior experience as a Duty Manager/Supervisor, preferably within the leisure or hotel industry.
- A passion for sports and leisure.
- Competent swimmer.
- Requirement to obtain an enhanced DBS certificate as part of the vetting process.
- Flexible with working shifts.
