Overview
Salary: £69,000 - £89,000 per year
Contract: Contract position until the end of December 2026, with a competitive rate of £500 per day, inside IR35.
Location & Work Model: Essex office (between Brentwood and Basildon) with a hybrid work model requiring 4 days per week in the office.
Requirements
- 8+ years working with backend technologies including Java and Java Frameworks
- Web development with DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control)
- Experience in security and identity management (IAM)
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Familiarity with server-side technologies
- Experience in Agile methodologies
- Problem-solving and debugging skills (desirable)
- Networking knowledge (Subnets, Firewall, Load balancing, VPN configurations) (desirable)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP) (desirable)
