The Team

The role is responsible for leading and delivering end-to-end application management and production support for Oracle E-Business Suite (12.1 and 12.2), with primary ownership of Supply Chain modules and cross-functional Finance integration.

In addition to Oracle, you'll have the opportunity to gain exposure and work with SAP and other cloud-based platforms.

The role combines leadership and hands‑on expertise to ensure stable system operations, rapid incident resolution, environment management, and continuous improvement of ERP processes.

Acting as the primary escalation point, the role oversees SLA adherence, manages complex technical and functional issues, supports upgrades and patching activities, and ensures seamless integration across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and external systems.

  • Role and Responsibilities
  • AMS Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the Oracle ERP Application Management Support (AMS) team, overseeing workload allocation, SLAs, and performance.
  • Hands‑On SCM Module

Support: Provide expert functional and technical support for core Oracle EBS Supply Chain 12.1 and 12.2 modules (Purchasing/P2P, Order Management/O2C, Inventory, BOM/WIP, OPM, Shipping/Receiving, and WMS).

  • Cross‑System Integration: Oversee end‑to‑end supply chain flows and maintain smooth integration between Oracle EBS and downstream platforms (Anaplan, SAP, ASCP).

Analysis: Act as the primary escalation point for critical ERP issues, conducting deep root cause analysis (RCA) to deliver permanent fixes and prevent recurrence.

  • Finance & Accounting

Alignment: Utilize working knowledge of Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, Costing, SLA) to resolve the accounting impacts of supply chain transactions and support period‑end close activities.

  • Vendor & Oracle SR Management: Direct Oracle Support (SR) interactions, managing diagnostics, bug fixes, patches, and solution deployments.
  • Environment & Patch

Management: Coordinate EBS 12.1 and 12.2 environment maintenance, including online patching (ADOP) cycles, upgrades, and system stability alongside infrastructure and DBA teams.

  • Business & IT Bridge: Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into prioritized IT activities.
  • Requirements, Testing & Deployment: Gather and document functional requirements while managing UAT, regression testing, SOP documentation, and change control.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all ERP activities adhere to audit requirements, internal compliance standards, and formal change management procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement across enterprise business systems.
  • AI Initiative Integration: Proactively identify and embed AI‑driven solutions into supply chain, manufacturing, and enterprise workflows to generate business value.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, IT (or equivalent professional experience) with deep hands‑on expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 and 12.2 environments.
  • Supply Chain Mastery: Comprehensive functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules, with an end‑to‑end understanding of P2P and O2C business processes.
  • Upgrades & Environment Management: Practical experience supporting EBS 12.1 to 12.2 migrations, online patching (ADOP), and upgrade‑related activities.
  • Skilled in writing and reviewing SQL code for top‑down problem resolution, with strong working knowledge of Oracle workflows, concurrent processing, diagnostics, and Azure.
  • Production Support & Ownership: Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex SCM production issues, backed by a strong ownership mindset to drive technical fixes and enhancements to closure.
  • Stakeholder & Business Partnering: Superior stakeholder management and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to building cross‑functional partnerships.
  • Highly detail‑oriented, resilient, and adaptable, with a rigorous approach to delivering high‑quality results within tight deadlines.
  • Financial & Advanced Module Knowledge would be advantageous: Working knowledge of Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, Costing, SLA), ASCP, or supply chain‑related intercompany accounting.
  • Oracle EBS SCM/Technical certifications and familiarity with ITIL or service management processes is preferable.
  • Global Delivery & Innovation (Preferred): Experience with global ERP rollouts, hypercare support, 24x7 managed services models, or embedding AI tools into ERP workflows.
