About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Network Planning Manager to lead global supply network planning activities across complex end-to-end value streams. This role combines people leadership, supply chain strategy, operational execution, and cross-functional stakeholder management to ensure reliable patient supply while balancing inventory, cost, quality, compliance, and business continuity objectives.

You will own global value streams generating more than $100 million in annual sales and oversee inventory investments exceeding $20 million, acting as the single point of accountability for value stream performance. Working across Commercial, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and external suppliers, you will drive supply chain resilience, performance improvement, and long-term value creation.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead End-to-End Value Stream Performance
    • Own end-to-end performance of assigned global value streams, including service, supply continuity, inventory, cost, quality, compliance, and business continuity.
    • Act as the single point of accountability for value stream performance, driving timely decisions and resolution of complex supply chain challenges.
    • Translate commercial demand and portfolio priorities into robust supply strategies aligned with network capabilities and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead scenario planning, capacity assessments, and risk-based decision-making to support business growth and supply resilience.
  • Drive Supply Planning & Operational Excellence
    • Lead execution of supply plans through structured governance, performance management, and proactive risk mitigation.
    • Resolve major supply disruptions and escalations to protect patient supply and business performance.
    • Improve supply plan adherence, execution stability, and planning effectiveness across the value stream.
    • Ensure reliable planning data, systems governance, and KPI reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Own Inventory & Financial Performance
    • Develop and execute inventory strategies for portfolios exceeding $20 million in inventory investment.
    • Balance service levels, working capital, cost, and risk through effective inventory management and optimization initiatives.
    • Lead business planning, target setting, and value stream investment decisions aligned to strategic priorities.
    • Drive initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize Total Cost to Serve.
  • Lead Supplier & External Partner Management
    • Provide leadership and oversight of supplier performance, capacity planning, risk management, and relationship management.
    • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and drive corrective actions to improve service, quality, and responsiveness.
    • Partner with Strategic Sourcing to shape supplier strategies, capacity plans, and long-term resilience initiatives.
    • Ensure strong collaboration with external manufacturing partners and suppliers to maintain reliable supply.
  • Influence Cross-Functional Stakeholders
    • Lead governance and decision-making across Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams.
    • Influence senior stakeholders to align priorities, manage risk, and achieve business objectives.
    • Facilitate cross-functional impact assessments for supply-related changes and ensure timely execution of mitigation plans.
    • Provide visibility of risks, opportunities, and performance across the value stream through effective communication and reporting.
  • Ensure Quality & Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure all supply decisions remain compliant with GMP, GDP, GxP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Support continuity of supply without compromising quality standards or regulatory obligations.
    • Embed compliant and risk-based decision-making processes across the supply network.
    • Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to proactively manage potential compliance risks.
  • Lead People & Capability Development
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Network Planners, creating a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear objectives, priorities, and performance expectations for team members.
    • Drive succession planning, capability development, and performance management.
