Based in Leeds, our client, First Practice Management, are looking for a talented Junior Developer to join their fantastic Development Team. You will get to work on some exciting new greenfield projects and help maintain existing product suites. FPN provide market-leading, client-driven products and services that set the bar for patient communications and compliance across Primary Care and related care settings in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Your role as a Junior Developer will be to work closely with the rest of the Development Team under the guidance and mentorship of the Senior Developers.
- Work in a fast-paced agile environment consisting of Developers, Testers, Project Manager, Development Manager, System Admins and Product Owners whilst getting exposure to some of the latest cutting-edge development tools and technologies including:
- DotNetCore & .Net
- Angular & Vue.js
- Identity Server
- C#/MVC/Web API/REST
- Entity Framework and EF Core
- SQL Server
- MSTest
- AWS
- IIS
- Docker
- Git
Requirements
- An understanding of MS SQL Server and the ability to understand and develop with Entity Framework.
- Experience of Visual Studio.
- Azure experience beneficial.
- Experience with Angular or similar JS framework is a plus.
- Knowledge of TFS and Git Source Control a plus.
- Detail oriented with a high personal level of accuracy.
- Good knowledge of information technology especially Microsoft and Web.
- Self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic.
- Have a passion for software development.
- Have a desire for continuous learning and self-improvement.
- A team player.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks.
- Produce quality documentation to demonstrate and detail produced work.
