What you'll be doing
The Quality, Controls & Regulatory Specialist is responsible for delivering robust 1st line operational assurance, combining control testing, quality assurance (QA), attestation activity, and calibration responsibilities into a multi-skilled role.
You will conduct comprehensive design effectiveness (DE) and operating effectiveness (OE) testing, delivers structured QA sampling, runs calibration sessions, and provide real-time operational feedback.
You will assess whether controls and quality standards are effectively designed, operating as intended, and aligned to regulatory, risk and policy requirements.
You provide independent, evidence-based assurance across operational processes, identify weaknesses or emerging risks, recommend improvements, and support control owners and operational teams in strengthening control maturity and overall quality.
How you’ll help
- Perform design effectiveness reviews across operational processes.
- Conduct operating effectiveness testing using sampling and evidence validation.
- Proactively challenge the design and ongoing relevance of frameworks, identifying areas where activity should evolve.
