The Principal Business Analyst is a senior-level expert responsible for leading complex business analysis initiatives, shaping strategic direction, and driving transformative change for a designated business unit within the organisation. This role acts as a trusted advisor to both the Head of Delivery and senior stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable solutions, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology capabilities. The Principal Business Analyst is accountable for the definition and oversight of the organisation’s analysis framework & practices and ensuring initiatives are aligned to the organisational strategy and delivered in line with business objectives. The role provides leadership, line and discipline management of the business analysis function required to deliver the Change portfolio.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience as a business analyst, with a proven track record in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks (e.g., BABOK), methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing abilities.
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, or leading teams of analysts.
