What You'll Be Doing

Manages and supports physical, virtual, and cloud-based IT infrastructure to ensure reliable services for internal customers, providing 3rd line support across networking, storage, and business systems while following ITIL best practices.

Also helps develop and enforce IT policies, security standards, SLAs, and KPIs, while contributing to system standardisation, performance monitoring, and the achievement of departmental objectives.

  • Deliver high-quality IT infrastructure services and support to internal customers, ensuring excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide 3rd line technical support and maintain the availability, capacity, and performance of network, server, storage, cloud, and business systems.
  • Design, develop, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, security, wireless, and cloud environments.
  • Automate and optimise IT processes, deployments, virtual machine management, and infrastructure-as-code (Ia C) activities to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, ITIL best practices, security standards, data protection requirements, and company policies.
  • Produce resilient infrastructure designs, contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning, and support continuous service improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and IT teams while providing technical leadership, mentoring, communication, and out-of-hours support when required.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Extensive experience providing 3rd line infrastructure and systems support within ITIL environments, ensuring reliable service delivery and adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Strong technical expertise across Azure, Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper‑V, SQL Server, networking, security, and enterprise infrastructure technologies.
  • Proven ability to automate processes and deployments using Power Shell, Dev Ops practices, Infrastructure as Code (Ia C), and deployment management tools.
  • Skilled in disaster recovery, business continuity planning, system architecture, backup and recovery, monitoring, and business‑critical application support.
  • Experienced in IT project delivery, team mentoring, technical leadership, and driving continuous improvement through industry best practices and professional certifications.
