What you’ll be doing:
The Head of Risk & Compliance Advisory plays a pivotal role in supporting the business to confidently navigate risk, ensuring high-quality, pragmatic guidance is embedded into everyday decision‑making. Reporting to the Business Risk Director, this role leads a team of trusted Business Partners who work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, helping to identify, assess and manage risk in a proactive and commercially minded way. With a strong focus on governance, collaboration and influence, you will champion a positive risk culture — ensuring risk and compliance considerations are not just managed but truly integrated into how the business operates and grows.
- Provide leadership and direction to the risk and compliance business partners team, fostering a culture of ethical conduct and risk awareness
- Collaborate with business units to address risk‑and compliance related issues and provide guidance on mitigating risks to avoid and delimit risk crystallisation
- Provide clear, timely, and expert advice on risk and compliance matters to business leaders and teams.
- Support the identification, assessment, and management of risks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across risk frameworks, reporting, and processes.
- Act as a point of escalation for key risks, emerging themes, issues and incidents and breaches.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in a senior risk management or related role, with a focus on risk mitigation through business partnering
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex business and risk requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including the ability to build and lead a high‑performing team
- Results‑oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
