The Head of Delivery leads the successful delivery of programmes and projects within a business unit, ensuring they meet timelines, scope, quality standards, and organisational goals. The role drives business value, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides leadership to project management teams while partnering with senior stakeholders and promoting continuous improvement.

  • Provide overall delivery leadership for a business unit, setting and executing strategies aligned to organisational objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex programmes and projects, ensuring performance against scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Establish and drive delivery frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across the change function.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor delivery teams, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture.
  • Build and maintain strong senior stakeholder relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and escalation point.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring proactive mitigation and effective decision-making.
  • Oversee resource planning, capacity, and budget management to optimise delivery outcomes.
