About us
Peoples Automotive Group represents Ford, BYD and OMODA across Scotland and Liverpool, with a significant used car operation alongside new vehicle sales. Our in-house marketing team is one of the most awarded in the UK, recognised nationally and globally for innovation across paid media, social, influencer partnerships, live activations and retail innovation—always focused on commercial ROI and measurable outcomes. We move fast, ship often, and care about work that’s clean, on-brand and effective.
The role
We’re looking for a dependable freelance designer who can pick up a brief and deliver high-quality assets with quick turnaround—across paid social, web, email, print, OOH and in-store. You’ll help shape and strengthen our brand identity, evolving toolkits and ensuring consistency across every touchpoint while keeping the creative fresh.
What you’ll do
- Create on-brand campaign assets: paid social sets, web banners, email headers, landing page hero imagery.
- Produce print-ready artwork: press ads, posters, PVC/banners, dealership signage, point-of-sale.
- Apply sharp typography and layout discipline; make smart, brand-safe design decisions.
- Deliver light motion where helpful (simple social animations/MP4s/GIFs).
- Collaborate with marketing on versions, copy placement and fast turnarounds.
What you’ll need
- 3+ years’ design experience (in-house or agency).
- Mastery of Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); Figma a bonus.
- Proven brand craft—building and applying systems.
- Ruthless attention to detail; comfort with same-day amends when needed.
- Solid grasp of social specs, print production and OOH requirements.
- A portfolio showing campaign systems, brand work and real-world roll-outs.
How we work
- Fast-paced and collaborative — we move quickly and expect the same.
- We take risks, push boundaries, and value ideas as much as execution.
- Pragmatic sign-off, minimal red tape, maximum output.
