People Care Solutions is recruiting frontline Care at Home Carers to support older people in their own homes across East Renfrewshire G77 (Newton Mearns, Clarkston, Busby, Giffnock).
16 to 35 hours per week, across core shifts. Opportunity to work additional hours.
Core Shifts:
- Successful applicants must reside within 30 minutes of G77 and hold a FULL UK Driving Licence, and have access to their own vehicle.
- £13.95 per hour.
- Enhanced rates £21.85 for 8 public holidays.
- 28 days (pro rata) paid annual holiday.
- 45p per mile duty mileage allowance.
- Paid face-to-face in-house Induction and Training.
- Uniform, PPE and coat provided.
- Access to Blue Light Card discounts.
- Funded qualifications and career progression.
- Wellbeing Support (24/7 by ZEST).
- Pension Scheme.
Providing personal care, mobility assistance, nutrition and skin care assistance, medication support on a person-centred basis within older people's own homes. Care for and support people in their own homes enabling them to continue to live at home safely and maximise their independence.
Evidence visits information by writing in Daily Record Books.
Right to work in the UK: suitable student visa applications considered. Hold full UK driving licence with a car (applications from non-drivers who live within 15 minutes walk of G77 can be considered). Previous care experience and qualifications e.g. SVQ 2 and 3 preferred, but not essential.
