A Top 100 UK law practice are seeking a Learning and Development Executive to play a key role in shaping the growing L&D function by delivering the firms core learning programmes.
Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for providing professional development opportunities for lawyers and support staff and will act as a conduit for our Business Learning Leads to feed into the L&D team their training needs and requirements.
As the Learning & Development Executive, you will:
- Deliver engaging learning programmes
- Coordinate our core learning curriculum across legal, professional and leadership skills
- Manage the logistics of training (virtual and in-person) from scheduling and communications to materials, attendance and evaluation
- Design and deliver engaging training modules, workshops, and e-learning content for other personal development topics and skills such as giving feedback, delegation and presentation skills, supervision skills and file disciplines.
Essential needs:
- Experience in a learning & development role in a professional-services environment
- Excellent organisation and project-management skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder-engagement abilities
- Confidence in designing and delivering engaging training content
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with LMS platforms (ideally Access Learning)
Desirable:
- Experience in a legal L&D environment
- Exposure to digital learning tools (e-learning tools, virtual facilitation, etc.)
- Ambition to progress into an L&D Manager role
