About the Role As a Vocational Multi-Skills Tutor, you will design and deliver practical learning sessions across a range of vocational disciplines, creating an engaging and supportive environment where learners can develop industry-relevant skills and achieve recognised qualifications.
Training may include areas such as: Construction Multi-Skills Carpentry and Joinery Painting and Decorating Plumbing Construction Warehousing and Logistics Other vocational and trade-related subjects You will play a key role in supporting learners to build confidence, develop practical competencies, and prepare for successful progression into employment, apprenticeships, or further education.
What You'll Be Doing Deliver engaging practical and classroom-based vocational training sessions.
Support learners to develop technical skills across a range of trade disciplines.
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare learners for accredited qualifications and industry standards.
Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and practical activities.
Maintain accurate learner records, assessment documentation, and progress reports.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and individual support to help learners overcome barriers to learning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders to support learner success.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to motivate and inspire learners from diverse backgrounds.
Experience delivering training, coaching, mentoring, or supervising others (desirable but not essential).
A recognised teaching or assessing qualification (desirable), or a willingness to work towards one.
Relevant vocational qualifications and industry knowledge.
