We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic Work & Skills Coach to join our join our prison industries team and play a pivotal role in the rehabilitation and resettlement of prisoners.
You will be working closely with instructors to support learners in developing their work skills which will enhance their chances of employability. You will provide support and guidance to learners so they record their skills and work experiences along with motivating and keeping the learners engaged. In this exciting position, you will collaborate closely with prison industries instructors to support prisoners in developing valuable work skills and enhancing their employability. Your mission will be to empower prisoners to recognize and record their skills and work experiences, motivating them to fully engage in their work. You’ll guide them in completing their Employability Passport and reflecting on their progress, helping them see the value of their journey.
Your approach will incorporate restorative practices, fostering accountability and personal growth while helping prisoners build positive relationships and take responsibility for their work. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by equipping prisoners with essential skills that can lead to successful reintegration into the workforce and society.

Support prison industries instructors in delivering engaging work programs.
