As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to groups of up to 12 learners, supporting individuals with a wide range of educational backgrounds, learning needs and abilities. You will use innovative teaching approaches, adaptive learning techniques and digital resources to make Maths and English relevant, accessible and enjoyable. Deliver Functional Skills English qualifications from Entry 1 to Level 2. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about helping people succeed. Level 3 qualification in English. Teaching qualification at Level 5 or above (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent), or willingness to work towards one. Experience delivering Functional Skills English qualifications. Strong lesson planning, classroom management and learner engagement skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs. A commitment to safeguarding, equality, inclusion and learner success. Experience within prison education, adult learning or further education. Knowledge of Ofsted's Education Inspection Framework (EIF). Internal Quality Assurance qualification (or willingness to work towards). This is more than a teaching role.
