The Role
We are recruiting for Skills Trainers to manage in-house delivery sessions to groups of learners, ensuring timely completion of a range of qualifications. They focus on delivering sessions to learners identified with Basic Skills needs and help them to overcome barriers and assist with their progressions. Our Tutors provide their learners with advice on how to maximise their ability and learning skills with the aim of making a positive impact on their learners' lives. This role is based in Tonbridge but will require support and cover other sites where required.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Trainer with experience of working with young people and/or unemployed individuals. Ideally, you will hold a recognised teaching/training qualification or be studying for one (City and Guilds 7407 or 7304, PTLLS/CTLLS/DTLLS/Level 3 Award in Education). You will need to have the ability to advise learners on how to maximise their own ability and learning skills.
