The Role
We are looking to recruit flexible and adaptable Tutors to support various contracts on a short-term basis as and when required. Our Tutors deliver innovative, engaging and motivational learning sessions to our Traineeship and Employability learners’ who require Functional Skills and Work Preparation Skills. They work alongside colleagues delivering classroom-based training courses and group activities to leaners in search of employment. Our Tutors have the ability to facilitate accredited learning activities that enable their learners to identify, address & overcome individual barriers to work. This is a sessional, fixed term position.

You should have high ethical standards and take personal accountability for everything you do and always look to be the best. You will need to be adaptable, flexible and happy undertaking short term assignments. You will need to have experience working for an adult education training provider. Ideally you will hold a level 4 teaching qualification along with a Level 2 Functional Skills. You must be driven to deliver the best employer/industry led skills training and willingness to understand employer or industry requirements. You will need to be target driven and have experience of working with learners with various complex learner needs and barriers to employment.

Level 2 Vocational qualification
An expert in your field with substantial vocational experience
Experience of delivering vocational based training
A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable
Ability to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners
