About the Role
As a Print Instructor, you'll deliver hands-on vocational training within a professional print workshop, helping learners develop industry-standard skills while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity. You'll create a positive learning environment where individuals can gain valuable experience, build confidence and prepare for employment on release.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical training in print production and related processes.
- Supervise learners in a safe and productive workshop environment.
- Support learners to develop technical skills, employability skills and positive workplace behaviours.
- Ensure all work is completed to agreed quality standards and production deadlines.
- Maintain workshop equipment and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback and encouragement.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusion and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with education and prison colleagues to support learner outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.

- Knowledge of print production, digital print, finishing or commercial printing processes.
