The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Based on-site at HMP Highpoint, you will work with small groups of prison-based learners, helping them to develop their motor vehicle maintenance and repair skills, knowledge, and workplace behaviours while supporting them in achieving their long-term goals and aspirations.
As a Motor Mechanics Tutor, you will ensure that effective training plans are in place and that learners receive appropriate advice, guidance, and support throughout their learning journey. You will deliver high-quality, hands-on vocational training that engages learners, builds confidence, and prepares them for future employment opportunities within the automotive industry.
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.
What we are looking for:
- Level 3 vocational qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Motor Mechanics, or a related subject
- Significant industry experience within motor vehicle repair and maintenance
- Experience delivering vocational or practical-based training
- A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable
- Ability to use a wide range of engaging and practical training methods to support learners
- Commitment to helping learners develop valuable vocational and employability skills
