We're looking for a motivated Print Instructor to join our team at HMP Millsike.
In this unique role, you'll train, mentor and support learners in developing practical print production skills that improve their confidence, employability and future career opportunities.

About the Role
As a Print Instructor, you'll deliver hands-on vocational training within a professional print workshop, helping learners develop industry-standard skills while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.
You'll create a positive learning environment where individuals can gain valuable experience, build confidence and prepare for employment on release.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver practical training in print production and related processes.
- Supervise learners in a safe and productive workshop environment.
- Support learners to develop technical skills, employability skills and positive workplace behaviours.
- Ensure all work is completed to agreed quality standards and production deadlines.
- Maintain workshop equipment and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback and encouragement.
- Promote a culture of respect, inclusion and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with education and prison colleagues to support learner outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.

- Experience working within the print industry.
- Knowledge of print production, digital print, finishing or commercial printing processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
