The Role

Are you passionate about education and supporting learners to achieve positive change? We're looking for a committed Assistant Tutor to join our education team supporting the Scottish Prison Service Education Contract. In this role, you'll work alongside Tutors to support learners in a secure learning environment, helping to create inclusive, engaging and supportive educational experiences. You'll play a key part in encouraging participation, building confidence and supporting learners' progress. We're keen to hear from individuals who are enthusiastic, adaptable and motivated by making a real difference through education. Our Social Recruitment Framework brings together organisations to tackle any pre-conceived ideas about hiring people who have previously been involved in crime. We also work with employers on the Ban the Box initiative to support fair and equal recruitment processes and have engaged industry to influence our employer-led curriculum delivered to our learners.
