Job purpose: Personal Assistant/Home and family support role
We are looking for a kind, reliable Personal Assistant to support the home environment of a non-
speaking autistic boy and his family.
Work Duties will include:
● Organisation of the home to support sensory needs
● Simple meal preparation
● Accompanying mother and child on outings
● Cleaning and tidying
Other requirements
● Being willing to get to know the child and learn about their needs and unique way of
communicating and viewing the world.
● Experience with SEND is helpful but not essential
● Non verbal autism
● Lifting and Handling
● Personal care when a relationship has been established.
Requirements for applicant (include any specialised training if required)

£15 per hour
Term Time – 6 hours
Non-Term Time 6-12 hours
