Our Art Tutors work with our management team and other PeoplePlus staff to familiarise themselves with the curriculum and individual schemes of learning. Within your role, you will provide cover to small groups of prison-based learners. You will support with the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them with their long-term goals and aspirations.
Our Tutors ensure that the appropriate training plans are in place and that the advice and guidance is given when required while ensuring they deliver the highest level of quality courses that engage with the learners and help them to reach their potential.
This is a part-time role for 2.5 days per week, working Tuesday afternoons and all Wednesday and all Thursday each week.
What are we looking for?
- Art Qualification (A Level Art and above are preferred)
- An expert in your field with substantial experience
- Experience of delivering training
- A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable
- Ability to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners along with flexibility to deliver qualifications across a variety of subjects
