- Technical acumen: sufficient familiarity with the data stack (SQL, Power BI, Databricks, AI/ML workflows) to manage technical teams effectively and ask the right questions.
- Outstanding communication skills: engaging and credible with both technical engineers and senior commercial stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management tooling: particularly Azure DevOps; familiarity with Jira, Asana, or similar is a plus.
- Proactive and self-directed: comfortable managing ambiguity and creating structure where it doesn't yet exist.
- Strong attention to detail: low tolerance for avoidable slippage.
