We're looking for someone with a Data Science skill set - Python with Pandas, modelling and analytical skills - to work on pricing potential investments for acquisition. You'll have some Data Science/Analytics experience from the UK in a commercial setting.

This role is hybrid; you'll be in the office 3 days per week in Manchester City Centre, surrounded by some highly cerebral and grounded colleagues in a meritocratic and collaborative environment. You will need to pass UK Credit and DBS checks.
You'll work in the Investment Pricing team, a team of specialists using Data Science & Analytics to price potential investments into the £M's. Support the pricing of new acquisitions by assessing the risk profiles of the portfolios across the UK, Benelux and Iberia.
Create the analysis for the investment memo in conjunction with the Senior Investment Analyst. Creation of ad-hoc models for the valuation of portfolios of varying asset types and geographies.
- 12-18 months of commercial experience as an Analyst or Data Scientist
- Experience or an interest in modelling – CHAID, Cluster Analysis, Bayesian Algorithms, NN
- Python and SQL experience ideally - Python a MUST
- Experience in a Data Science role with a focus on modelling & coding
The interview process is simple – initial phone call with the Analytics or Data Science Manager, then we invite candidates in for a group presentation, coding exercise - a spot of lunch and an interview on the same day!
