Business Development Executive (Facilities Management / Robotics Solutions)
Gateshead
£30,000-£35,000 (£60,000+ OTE) + Uncapped Commission + Industry Training + Career Progression + Company Benefits
Are you a commercially driven Business Development Executive with experience selling into Facilities Management, Commercial Cleaning, Property Services or Operational Services environments, looking for an opportunity to work with cutting-edge robotics and automation technology?
On offer is the opportunity to join a rapidly growing automation business helping organisations improve efficiency, reduce labour dependency and enhance service delivery through innovative robotics solutions. With demand growing rapidly across facilities management, hospitality, healthcare and commercial sectors, this is an exciting time to join a business operating at the forefront of automation technology.
In this role, you will focus on winning new business, developing relationships with decision-makers and building a strong sales pipeline across target industries. You will conduct customer consultations, arrange demonstrations and manage opportunities through to successful implementation, helping businesses adopt technology that delivers measurable operational improvements.
This role would suit a Business Development Executive, Field Sales Executive, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager or Business Development Manager with experience selling into Facilities Management, Commercial Cleaning, Property Services, Building Services or related commercial sectors.
The Role
- Generate new business opportunities across target industries
- Build relationships with Facilities Management and commercial clients
- Develop and manage an active sales pipeline
- Conduct customer consultations and site visits
- Arrange and support product demonstrations
- Present proposals, quotations and business cases
- Negotiate commercial agreements and close opportunities
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify growth opportunities
The Person
- Previous B2B sales experience
- Experience selling into Facilities Management or related sectors advantageous
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven approach
- Comfortable managing new business opportunities
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Happy travelling to customer sites when required
