Are you an experienced Procurement Manager, Supply Chain Manager or Senior Buyer looking for the opportunity to take ownership of an entire procurement function while helping shape the future of a growing pharmaceutical business? On offer is the opportunity to join a fast-growing UK pharmaceutical company where you'll work directly with the CEO as part of the Senior Leadership Team. You'll have the autonomy to influence business decisions, lead procurement strategy and supplier relationships, while remaining hands-on in the day-to-day operation and developing the procurement function as the business continues to grow.
In this role, you'll oversee sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, stock optimisation and procurement planning across the business. Working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Commercial and Quality teams, you'll use data-driven decision making to improve supplier performance, maintain stock availability and support business growth, while managing and developing one direct report.
This role would suit a Procurement Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Senior Buyer, Category Manager or Purchasing Manager with experience in a regulated industry who is ready to take the next step into a leadership position with greater autonomy and commercial responsibility.

- Manage supplier sourcing, negotiations and relationships
- Optimise stock levels, forecasting and inventory performance
- Drive procurement strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with senior leadership to support business growth
- Manage and develop one direct report
- Procurement or supply chain management experience
- Background within pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry
- Experience negotiating supplier contracts and managing procurement processes
- ERP system knowledge (Dynamics 365 advantageous)
- CIPS qualification or working towards one desirable
- Commutable to Fleet (4 days office, 1 day hybrid)
