Are you a Roofing Contracts Manager, Roofing Manager or experienced Roofing Supervisor with a strong background in domestic roofing, looking to take ownership of multiple projects while leading teams and subcontractors within a growing business?
On offer is the opportunity to join an established and ambitious company operating across roofing and renewable energy, where you'll have a significant influence over the delivery and development of the roofing function. You'll receive a structured handover from the existing manager and have the autonomy to improve processes, develop teams and maintain high standards across projects.
In this role, you'll manage roofing teams and subcontractors across multiple domestic and commercial projects, coordinating labour, resources, scaffolding and project delivery. You'll ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while providing technical guidance, developing team members and maintaining strong Health & Safety and compliance standards.
This role would suit an experienced roofing professional with strong people-management skills and extensive knowledge of tiled and slated roofing systems. Experience within Solar PV roofing would be highly advantageous, alongside experience managing subcontractors, scaffolding and multiple projects.
The Role
- Manage roofing teams and subcontractors across multiple projects.
- Plan labour, resources and project schedules.
- Oversee roofing and scaffolding operations.
- Ensure Health & Safety and Working at Height compliance.
- Provide technical guidance, training and support to roofing teams.
- Manage subcontractor performance, quality and project delivery.
- Work closely with internal delivery teams to keep projects on schedule.
- Drive improvements across quality, productivity and operational performance.
The Person
- Significant experience within domestic roofing.
- Experience managing roofing teams and/or subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of tiled and slated roofing systems.
- Solar PV roofing experience highly advantageous.
- Strong Health & Safety and Working at Height knowledge.
- Commercial roofing experience advantageous.
- SMSTS, SSSTS or scaffolding qualifications advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
